Following the recording of Ups and Downs in late 2014, I put a band together to play OzManouche 2014 and the CD Launch, among other things.
The band consisted of myself on guitar and voice, Jan van Dijk on violin, Miranda Deutsch on guitar and Rick Caskey on bass.
We really get a nice authentic Manouche sound, and the band really cooks on the original material I wrote for the album.
Miranda spent two years in Paris playing with some of the greats, and her pompe is rock solid.
We added Dan Cosgrove on clarinet in 2015 and named the band Swing Dynamique. In late 2015 we recorded an album – Swing Dynamique – launched it at OzManouche 2015.
